Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences invites applications for two full-time, 12-month, didactic, tenure-track, assistant or associate professors in the Master of Physician Assistant Program in the Department of PA Studies.  Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidates' level of experience and qualifications at the time of hiring. Responsibilities may include classroom and lab instruction, small group case-based discussion, course management, simulation development, student advisement and mentoring, program and college committee service, community service, and scholarship.  Additional information may be found at Butler College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

·      Be a board-certified PA, MD, or DO

·      Have a minimum of three years of clinical experience

·      Be eligible to obtain a valid Indiana license to practice

 

Preferred qualifications:

·      A doctoral degree in a related discipline for PA-Cs

·      Teaching experience with evidence of commitment to quality teaching coupled with a desire to use innovative teaching methods to engage and educate PA students.

·      Promising record of research and publishing experience

·      Previous experience with and commitment to inclusive and evidence-based pedagogies
