Instructor/Assistant Professor, Special Purpose

Radford University invites applicants for a full-time special purpose (non-tenure track) faculty position in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at RUC. Responsibilities will include planning, implementing and evaluating academic curriculum and assigned teaching responsibilities. Serves as academic advisor for students and participates in professional contributions and university service. Work is performed in several environments: office, classroom, skills laboratory, and clinical facilities where exposure to communicable diseases may be a moderate risk. Maintains contact with students and clinical facility personnel. Communicates regularly with program director and other faculty to coordinate student learning experiences. Maintains professional competence through continuing education and/or professional practice. May be asked to teach any subject pertinent to the education of Physician Assistant students and in accordance with educational background/training.
